In 2015, Blue Bear Films won three prestigious international awards for its films for “Roads of Arabia”, an extraordinary Smithsonian traveling exhibition about the little-known ancient civilizations of the Arabian Peninsula. Produced and directed by Maggie Burnette Stogner, the films received Awards of Excellence/History in the Accolade Global Film Competition, the Best Shorts International Competition, and the Cindy Awards. The exhibition premiered at the Smithsonian’s Asian Art Museum and toured to the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, the Houston Fine Arts Museum, and the San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum in October 2014.
